Nao Tamura designed Serving plates “Seasons” for Covo.

The serving dishes are always necessary for everyday life. Nao Tamura’s interpretation of this task is different from others already seen. Seasonsare serving containers made of silica sand.

For creating this product, Nao Tamura found inspiration in her Japanese roots and their understanding of nature. Material is long-lasting and resistant, so serving containers can be washed in a dishwasher.

‘Seasons’ can be compressed or rolled up depending on the user’s need. In both positions, the product looks attractive. Thanks to the flexibility, silicon behaves naturally and reveals its beauty, each leaf has its shape and individuality. That way, each piece is unique and different like nature itself.

Nao Tamura created a product that is functional and attractive. While this design is organic and subtle, its functionality improves users lives.
