Gardian Stool-new expression of the seating
Patrick Norguet designed the Gardian stool for La Manufacture. The product was designed to fulfil seating function. Its purpose is not for long-lasting, comfortable seating behind awriting desk or around a dining table. This useful piece is only occasional seating. It was created to help the user solve the need for additional seating at any private or public space. The dimensions of the Gardian are reduced to its most minimal limits necessary just tosupport the body in a seated position.
Gardian with its simple form is like a small sculpture with impressive and elegant lines and with perfect proportions. Designed this way, it is halfway between design and art in appearance. The piece is easy to move thanks to the detail on the side. This way, the functionality of the stool is enhanced.
This stool is produced in fabrics of cheerful colours without additional decorative details. This product with minimalist design is a functional item but also a decorative one and can appear as an accent in the space. With such characteristics, Gardian possesses a balance of functionality and appearance.
Patrick Norguet gives the shape to everyday products and answers to the users’ needs in a modern way. Gardian is the refined and modern product with its own, unique identity.
